Long Nguyen

Monash University

Long Nguyen received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Newcastle, Australia, in 2021. His top three Ph.D. theses published in journal and proceedings of The Royal Society of New South Wales, Australia in 2022. Since then, he has been a Research Fellow with Monash University, Australia, and an Associate Inverstigator at ARC Training Center in Optimisation Technologies Integrated Methodologies and Applications (OPTIMA). His research investigates optimization and AI-based algorithms for decision-making in autonomous multi-agent systems. He specialises in algorithms for solving planning and scheduling problems in the maritime transport, camera surveillance system, and intelligent transport system domains. His expertise includes mixed integer nonlinear programming, online learning and game theory.
